Connections

connections

The Connections widget shows you the connection status between the Skybrush Server and peripherals, connected UAVs or other devices. Move your cursor over the widget to open its tooltip and display the activity of the wireless channel towards the UAVs, the status of an optional secondary telemetry radio that sends RTK corrections and/or commands to the drones, the RTK base station, etc.

Use secondary channel

If you enable this option and there are two communication channels configured in your server settings for Skybrush Live, then all unicast and broadcast commands will be sent on the secondary channel instead of the primary one. Note that this is only a suggestion for the server; if you do not have a secondary communication channel configured (if you do not have a second one physically or if the second one is configured with Skybrush Sidekick, not Skybrush Live), then the server will fall back to use the primary one. Also note that the selection of the communication channel(s) for sending RTK corrections to the drones is independent of this setting and should be configured in the server’s config file (advanced feature).
